Omly 4 stars because i cannot find the way to send a recipe by mail, Facebook etc..

Very basic recipe program. You can download online recipes but only from approved sites. Seems to lack the ability to list recipes or catagories in alphbetical order. Also lacks the ability to drag and drop recipes into multiple categories. I have this app installed on my desktop and laptop but can’t figure out how to transfer data from one to another even with multiple attempts with the iCloud icon. This app could really use a way to print out the recipes. Very difficult to take my desk top into the kitchen.

I like that the program is simple and clean. It doesn’t ask for a ton of information I don’t care about, which means less text boxes and less confusing interface. You can create categories very easily. However, the inablilty to move a recipie into a category once it’s created is incredibly frustrating.

It has a nice and clean interface and some good organizational features. I’m not sure what the point of the groceries tab is, since you have to enter in the ingredients anyways, you might as well do it in the notes app so its available on your phone (wouldn’t it make since to select the recipies and have it generate one???). A small bug, too, it clips the first character of the ingredients and directions. The internet interface is a slick idea, but the couple I tried I still needed to do a lot of tweeking and it changed the font to that of the website. The app provides no way of changing the font (good ole cmd+t works, Avenir 15 pt, but that’s a pain). As far as functionality goes, i’d rather use text files in a finder and save the $10. Why is Apple promoting this app? (Last time I take their word.) If you’re looking for something super-simple and easy to use, this wouldn’t be a bad choice.

I am running this app on a 13” mac and I can not resize screen to fit. Lower apple menu bar is covering bottom of your app and I can not use buttons.

I like to print my recipes so that I can make the dish without worrying about getting anything dirty and I can just throw it out after it is made. This application seems to be great to organize recipes, but having the ability to print would make it perfect.

I had well over 250 recipes stored i this program. I turned on my computer a few days ago, and was trying to find a recipe, when i discovered that the entire library of recipes i had compiled, was ALL GONE! I tried to contact the company for help, and they NEVER responded to me. This is totally unacceptable. I wasted over a year putting all that work into something that decided to delete everything. Even the recipes i had saved to the cloud feature, are not accessable, because the cloud icon NO LONGER APPEARS in the app.

Yes… All of my Recipes! GONE! It was working just fine, then one day I turn it on and ALL of my recipes were gone!!! OMG!!! I cannot believe it!! I liked the layout and easyness of it, but I will NOT be trusitng this program again anytime soon. UGH!

Like other reviews have noted, I opened this app a couple of weeks ago and all my recipes were gone. All of the work I had put in, just gone. I’m very disappointed by this and want my money back. This app is not cheap and it’s totally useless.

I am severely disappointed that I ever downloaded this app. I paid a chunk of change for it because I thought I would finally have a way to keep track of all my recipes. Don’t waste your money. After the update all my recipes disappeared. This was right before Thanksgiving. So then I added all my NEW thanksgiving recipes into the app.. two weeks later all my OLD recipes were there, all the new ones were gone. I tried restoring the app to a “backup” I created through the “preferences” tab of the app.. all that did was delete everything new AND old. I don’t care how much I paid I am deleting this app, never going to risk losing all my data again. What a waste of time. By the way, even when the app was “working” it was completely clumsy, you can’t rearrage categories or easily add recipes from the web like it shows, I always had to manually enter all the ingredients and directions and then when I would go to view them, you only get a little window to view them and for some reason the app would add like 12 lines of blank space over whatever you entered.

Was excited to get a recipe app so that I could oranize all my recipes digitally and get rid of all my stained/mangled cards, pieces of paper, and newsprint cut outs. Downloaded this app and opened it, then it locked up and I couldn’t do anything, including quit the app! Request a refund from iTunes and removed the app. After doing all this, I also noticed the 5 star reviews were all made on the same day by various versions of mens names….. possibly the creators of this app trying to scam for quick sales?!? BEWARE!!

They said they fixed a “data loss” issue, well more likely there was no issue, but after the update, all of my recipes just vanished. I do not back them up because I constantly add to them. I lost all of my recipes because of this update. Take a chance to download this, I thought I paid well, I guess not.

Reached out to the application support website and got no response.

Don’t trust this app. Spent hours entering my recipes, updated the software, recipes are gone. Will try to find them in one of my back ups but I won’t be using this app to manage them again. What. A. Nightmare.

Overall I like this tool to manage my recipes. Had an isses of data getting lost few times but it seems it is fixed now.

This app seemed great at first, but in the long run proved to be unuseful. It unfortunatly is not mobile friendly and once every so often the application would crash and have to be reinstalled. I strongly suggest not bothering with this app.
